Points Rummy is an excellent variant to play when you are in a hurry and want to play a quick game. Points Rummy is usually played by two to six people with one, two, or sometimes even three decks of cards. Each deck has one printed Joker card. The cash game of this variant is played for points with a pre-determined monetary value.
It is a variant of 13 cards Indian rummy in which whenever a player wins a deal, they receive 0 points, and the rest of the points they accumulate are added to their score. Once a player has reached the maximum number of points available on the table, for example, 101 Points Pool or 201 Points Pool, they are eliminated.
Usually played by 2 to 6 players, Deal Rummy is a challenging variant of Indian Rummy. In this game, each player is given a fixed number of chips at the beginning of the game. Deal Rummy has a predetermined number of deals per game. The winner of the game is the one with the highest number of chips at the end.
